Dot Link is an addictive puzzle game for adults and kids to connect the dots and discover hidden pictures. It has easy yet exciting game play with players tapping on the dots to draw lines and solve the puzzles. With multiple levels and more complicated dot patterns as you go, it provides an excellent way to train your logical thinking and your patience. Lively pictures and pleasing animations ensure you want to accomplish each puzzle. Whether you are a younger player who doesn't like to question yourself or an adult who has never been good with puzzles, Dot Link will get you going.
Dot link is a fantastic puzzle game that will test your logic and puzzle matching skills. It is a game that gives players a grid full of colored dots and the ultimate goal is to connect these dots in a way that satisfies the level and allows you to move on with the game. At the beginning of each level, you receive instructions. These may instruct you to connect all the dots of one color to make one continuous form. For instance, if there are red dots all over the grid, you have to figure out a way to connect each one to another by moving your finger through the screen or lifting and moving the mouse, so they form a closed loop. The difficulty spikes rather noticeably as you progress. The grids grow broader, the number of dots and the colors multiply.

In an age of complex, hyper-realistic gaming, Dot Link provides a straightforward and highly addictive puzzle experience. This stylish mobile game boils down gameplay to its base elements, but does it with more creative flair and depth than you'd ever have expected under the minimalist surface. With it's simple concept, relaxing graphics and progressively challenging puzzles, Dot Link is a unique and easy to pick up game that's fun for all ages.
Simple to its essence, Dot Link is a game that naturally appeals to everyone: connecting the dots on the screen by touching them to link them into a single line. Players take turns drawing lines between matching numbers (for instance, between two “1s,” two “2s” and so on), and the key rule is there can be no crossing lines. What begins as a simple exercise gradually becomes a series of mind-bending challenges as grids grow, dots replicate and a range of obstacles are added, from blocked paths to dots within dots, and lines within lines.
Unlike so many puzzle games which combine bright and shiny effects, Dot Link has a zen approach to its visual style. The interface includes soft pastel backgrounds, sharp dot designs, and fluid animations that make every connection feel gratifying. Relaxing sound track and soft natural sound effects help seclude you from the roaring wind, snow and the sound of the weapons. This “no frills” way to play allows the concepts within the game to fully speak for themselves and allows for game players to have their full attention set on the puzzles.
The game starts off nice and easy with wee 3x3 grids but ratchets up the complexity fairly swiftly with bigger boards, more pairs of dots and rules on restricted movement. Certain levels introduce fun mechanics, such as color-coded dots that must be connected in sequence, or teleporter links that deposit lines elsewhere on the grid. The challenge curve is well-judged — every puzzle feels like it can be achieved but rewarded, and everything ask players not to draw a line until they've truly thought about it.
With hundreds of levels, Dot Link is plenty meaty, and daily challenges or a timed mode provide additional longevity for perfectionists trying to outdo their high scores. No ads (in the premium edition), plus undo for when you make mistakes, make for an frustration-free experience.
Dot Link is great for everyone: the casual gamer can easily jump in, veterans of logic puzzles love the clever twists that make the game unique, even the non-gamer has a great way to pass time. Its offline play makes it great for commutes or travel, and the bite size levels are made for short bursts of play.
Dot Link is the proof that you don't need fancy graphics or difficult mechanics to create an awesome game. Taking the idea of a classic to the next level with clever design and seemingly infinite content, it's a game that delivers a meditative but challenging game of puzzles.
