Clash of Critters is a free-to-play casual strategy game by Lilith Games (FARLIGHT). Players collect and evolve over 100 cute creatures called "Tataris," catching them through a fun pinball-plunger mini-game. The Tataris are deployed in lane-based tower defense battles against zombie waves, with placement and elemental counters (Fire/Water/Grass etc.) adding strategy. Outside battles, you build and decorate a cozy camp where pets auto-produce resources, and can raid other players' camps for extra loot. It is a charming blend of pet collecting, pinball, TD combat, and base-building. This game is very suitable for those who like cute graphics and catching characters.
The primary way to obtain resources is through a pinball machine (similar to classic Windows game 3D Pinball). Players launch balls that bounce off obstacles and land in different reward zones, earning candies (for pet upgrades), gold coins, shields, and special rewards. Accumulating enough points triggers a capture mini-game where players collect new "Tatari" pets by hitting them with falling capsules.
Battles are vertical tower defense (similar to Plants vs. Zombies in portrait mode). Players place Tatari on multiple lanes to automatically fight waves of zombie-like enemies called "Zombos". The strategic depth comes from elemental advantages and proper positioning. If any lane is overrun, the battle fails.
Players can expand their camp using resources earned from battles and the pinball machine. The camp provides permanent bonuses such as increased candy production, faster pinball recovery, and enhanced raid rewards. When the pinball lands in special slots, it triggers raid events where players can attack other players' camps to steal large amounts of candy — a classic Coin Master mechanic.

Clash of Critters is casual strategy and tower defense mobile game which was developed by Farlight Games. Adorable creature collection, tactical lane defense and idle gameplay make for an inviting mix of casual players through to strategy enthusiasts. The cartoon-style graphics, new combat systems along with complete gameplay Set changed it different from other mobile casual games.
The greatest strength of Clash Of Critters is the incredible edge between accessibility and complexity as it allows people both new to gaming and those who have been at it for a long time huddled around their TV screens since 1997 find something truly wonderful. The game is a five-lane tower defense combat mode in the case of Tataris (wacky creatures that can deploy to start intelligence and cannon-fodder again zombies). It takes on a hardline elemental counter system encompassing fire, water, grass rock and lightning elements. Matching troops with their proper elemental power increases attack damage by twofold; mismatched ones yield combat efficiency largely compromised, forcing players to adjust the lineup flexibly as per enemy types.
Beyond the turn-based combat, its variety of well-designed systems serve to make for a more savvy experience. There is also a unique system for upgrading pinballs, which can be used to upgrade your team of creatures in pillow batches instead of the tedious individual upgrades that players are usually forced into when building up their teams. Also the idle auto-battle system makes everything automatically and players can receive resources in order to complete stage progression without the constant need for manual operation.
Gold Rush territorial competition and other rich in-game events continuously send new gameplay content with large amounts of rewards cycle, while able to bring long-term gaming fun. In addition, it features more than 100 unique cuddly critters; each zona has its own abilities and have their own skill combo effects so players can exercise ultra creative freedom in forming team combinations to open strategic opportunities.
But the game suffers from one glaring flaw; extreme late-game progression freeze. Returning to players' earlier and middle status, the game is quite easy giving them many resources to rapidly level up through stages quickly clearing new creatures as they unlock. However, once entering the late game stage, that is where we notice a huge drop in efficiency when it comes to acquiring resources.
At the top, there is a massive resource drain that requires extremely high level rare creature upgrades and advanced formation unlocking (which you can only get grinding through specific busy-work stages or expending run resources on random event rewards). All other means to get the core resources have low efficiency.
In summary, Clash of Critters is a superb quality casual strategy game with excellent design and open-ended tactical action. Despite its single late-game grinding flaw, this does not eclipse its strengths altogether but i am sure by enhancing the meta system of resources for a perfect mid-late game it would shine more brighter for long term players. And it is very advisable for you to play the game.
