Lumi Master is a F2P cozy monster-collecting RPG developed by Bilibili Games for iOS and Android. Explore forests, deserts and volcanoes to catch over 100 cute creatures called 'Lumis' in a hand-drawn storybook style world. Light element-countering turn-based battles, a customizable home base which auto-produces Lumis to help with resources and building mini-games, creature hunting while shrunk in the monster world for casual trading play. It is also marketed more as a low-stress, no-grind experience for fans of mild monster-taming adventure activities. The game is full of cute pets and animals, which means this is quite suitable for those who love them.
Lumi Master is a light-hearted monster-collecting RPG in the style of colourful storybooks. You embark on tap-to-advance adventures in themed regions and random encounters see you engaging in battles with, and catching everything from Pong to mechanized cuties called "Lumis" that you throw capture cards at (and when the right timing is nailed your chance of success increases).
Semi-auto turn-based combat with elemental rock-paper-scissors counters (Fire/Water/Grass/Light/Dark). Your auto-attack is Lumis; you switch members, and you hand-cast active skills. Construct and customize your island in the sky, fill that with Lumis you've caught that you build to stations (farming, forging) for background resource generation utilized to create more catch cards/instruments. Capture, level up and lineage Lumis to fill your Pokédex, battle boss type challenges vs "Overlord Lumns", enter PvP arenas or trading with other trainers.

This is a free-to-play monster-collecting RPG and life-sim hybrid mix from Bilibili Games. Lumi Master is already out on iOS, Android with the allure of tapping to catch monsters but borrowed pokewalkers and at least partly modeled on Coin Master. Players roam through various regions in first-person, initiating random events—wild Lumis to catch, collectibles to farm or NPC fights—catch and evolve over 100 distinct creatures with elemental properties, customize a home town where the Lumis function and produce crafting materials for you; trade creatures on an open market driven by players as well as challenge each other in turn-based arena PvP based off of attribute counters. The core loop is designed to be uncomplicated: no complicated combos, and no dailies that take forever; tap, collect at your own pace to build a team or pawns (party members), then do the fighting.
Relaxing, low-effort presentation. The pastel 2D art and gentle animations exudes a sincere sense of calmness that make the entirely non-gritty (or over-the-top flashy) style feel more inviting for casuals/females than other mobile RPG offerings.
Pervasive but addictive core loop. The game combines the interactivity of Coin Master with a twist on monster catching as it removes tedious map backtracking and manual grinding. Despite an expansive world of size and wonder, tap-to-adventure quests, Lumis (the little creatures dressed in a wide assortment that can be captured with cards) to catch and regional Pokédex completion keeps things feeling renewed without requiring dedicated hours each day.
Surprisingly deep for a casual game. Underneath its casual-free surface reveals plenty of emerging systems: elemental rock-paper-scissors (fire/water/grass/etc.), team composition strategy in 1v1-with-switch battles, Lumi evolution paths—exploration and trainer levels—and even a player marketplace to trade unbound creatures.
Gratifying home and social systems. Your home base is not merely decorative: you can more or less line up Lumis at production buildings to produce decorations and crafting materials for capture cards, while seasonal leaderboards with ranks among friends; the ability to "raid" through a friend's fiefdoms in your quest (presumably) of bursting crops into their lee versus planned modes of co-op time extension.
Fair monetization model. Early builds highlight "not pay to win," and revenue will almost certainly be based on optional season passes, skins or decorations instead of gacha locked must-have monsters - a rare feat now in the genre that deserves recognition.
Heavy and repeated tap gameplay. As player progress (and the results of encounters, which Lumis discovered vs. harvested gold/materials) is solely based on completely random rolls rather than exploring locations as you do in Secret World Legends or having a skill-based engagement system found within most modern RPGS, players who dislike chance will find their late-game completion grindy and frustrating. Further, its basic click-and-wait mechanic may leave hardcore game players looking for more tactical or action-oriented play.
Long story short, Lumi Master is a chill experience that serves as an easy-going alternative to more traditional monster-taming games and while it caters heavily towards collectors who care about aesthetics over min-maxing (and want low-stress casual gameplay) the slow pacing due to luck may not appeal for everyone.
