Description

Vampire Survivors is gothic horror casual game with rogue-lite elements developed and published by indie developer poncle. Mow thousands of night creatures and survive until dawn! Hell is empty, the devils are here, and there's no place to run or hide. Survive as long as you can until death inevitably puts an end to your struggles. Gather gold in each run to buy upgrades and help the next survivor. Stand against hordes of enemies, exterminate monsters and finish the game as a lone survivor! There is no way to defeat an enemy army without a collection of great weapons. This roguelike game has it all. Cross, garlic, king bible, or magic wand? The choice is yours. Your choices can allow you to quickly snowball against the hundreds of monsters that get thrown at you.

How to play

In Vampire Survivors the player selects one of the playable characters and enters a vast field, where the player's goal is to survive against waves of approaching enemies. At the start, the player only has a single weapon to fight back at the enemies. By killing enemies, the player gains experience and can level up, allowing them to obtain additional weapons and passive items or upgrade existing ones to help them survive the tougher foes yet to come.

In addition to enemies, destructible light sources also occasionally appear, dropping Gold Coins and other useful items that help the player fend off enemies. The collected Gold can be used for buying new characters and PowerUps to aid the player in their future attempts.

► Take your time to grab gems and items, they won't disappear.

► Get two or three offensive weapons at first, but focus on leveling them up one at a time.

► Armour and Luck are good starting power-ups to spend money on.

► Refund power-ups often, it's free, and try new upgrade paths.

Waves of undead legions are all around, have you thought it’s going to be easy? The challenge is what makes this one of the best horde survival games. It’s time to enjoy an exciting rouge survival adventure.

Vampire Survivors is a game that was published on steam for PCs first but now the game is also being published on google play so that way you can have a lot of fun on your smartphone as well. It’s a pretty fun game with the basic structure of an RPG game and you want to eliminate your enemies as efficiently and quickly as possible. Your bullets will become the end and hell for those monsters.

You are the main objective in this game is already pre-discussed by the title as you can probably be able to tell, is to survive! You can’t hide or just run away like that’s the option in a lot of other games. You want to store gold and get better guns or weapons to kill the monsters and survive and go on to the very next level. There are a lot of diversities in monster types and they could look creepy or disgusting or sometimes even look nice but your main objective is to make sure that you are the one who lives as there is only one side that can survive.

The game mechanism is straight to the point as you will simply drag across the screen to try to test out your bravery and to see how well you can eliminate all your opponents. The weaponry in the game is quite brilliantly designed as there is a lot of selection you can choose from and the fact that you can upgrade your skills like in most of the RPG games will make the process of murdering more fun and satisfying. The game will also ask you to pay attention to the details of where you are located and come up with strategies for killing your enemies at the right settings I love how the developers choose to make sure that there are enough varieties in the background setting as you can even combat your opponents in a library which sound like a real after world apocalypse that happened.

The heroes option in the game is quite amazing because you can choose from a range of individuals that you think will be the best fit for you and you want to make sure your ultimate goal is not to kill as much as you can but try your very best to get gold and upgrade.

There are things that I don’t necessarily enjoy in this game like the whole wording system. There are so many words to read and I’m not the biggest fan of the vintage game but the words you have to read in a small screen environment can get pretty overwhelming over time and it’s not quite pleasant if you have to do it over and over again. Also as a game that’s recently published, I feel like the game would be so much more fun if the graphics and the UI system can be better than what it looks like. I know it’s not necessarily my place to judge because the previous model of the game that’s published on PCs looks quite similar to the mobile version. But I feel that in the modern day, people have a higher tendency of asking for something fancy or well-designed so I’m just worried that the developers would not be able to attract as many people as they could if they make the game more modernized. But again, this is not my place to judge. The game would require a highly advanced mobile smartphone as it’s not published a long time ago, so for those who have a relatively older generation of phones, this game will be harder for your phone to load just for your information!
