Mobile RPG Dragon Village 3, published by Highbrow, allows players to collect, train and breed their own dragons so they can head into battle in a variety of game modes. There are 600 different dragons with unique elements, skills and evolution in the game. Dungeons, PvP arenas and guild activities can be found for players to partake in. Players can breed dragons and combine them with various other varieties of dragon to find unique hybrids that are bound by a breeding system. It features turn-based combat mechanics with strategic team-building that has enough depth to sink your teeth into if you feel inclined, without scaring away casual fans of the dragon-collecting genre.
The core gameplay loop of Dragon Village 3 is breeding, building and battling. What is not is the "Altar of Life" system in which players can combine two different types of dragons. Find hidden combinations to hatch hundreds of unique, rare dragons by pairing elements and bloodlines in strategic ways. Construct your village and customize it to fit in. You will build habitats for your dragons, update the landscape, and feed or pet them to observe their everyday habits. Move your dragons into real-time PVP with a unique “Ban & Pick” system to defeat foes. You can also join with friends or battle giant boss monsters in co-op raids.

If you've always dreamed of hatching the dragon egg, seeing it fly through pixel-art skies and then riding into a classic paint-the-map-war-style battle with your band of expertly-trained fire-breathing companions—Dragon Village 3 is literally that game filling in those daydream-colored holes. Developed by Highbrow, the brand-new sequel takes everything fans loved about the original Dragon Village Collection and makes it even better with richer strategy, deeper story elements, and a breathing world.
That is reason enough to stay in the world itself. The game finds you amidst an epic battle between the dragon God and Darknix — a dark force, conveyed through well executed cut-scenes and high-resolution illustrations. No, you aren't just collecting dragons — you're a Tamer out to rescue an entire dragon culture. That heavyweight of a story has enabled the gameplay itself to create purpose beyond "Click, hatch, repeat."
This collection system is so interesting. Breed cross breed dragons (fire earth, wind water i.e.) and you can create whole new classes of species. A dragon with unique designs over four different evolution stages are there for thousands to discover. The sprite art is cute, and filling out your dragon notebook feels genuinely rewarding. You can also preregister to get the "Tamer Debut Limited Pack" along with a special dragon guarantee and bonus rewards.
Building your own Dragon Village is surprisingly satisfying. You construct buildings, place habitats, and watch dragons roam freely. Feed them, pet them, gather them around the campfire — it's cozy in a way most strategy games never achieve. This chill village-building layer perfectly balances the competitive side.
Speaking of competition — this is where PvP arena, the true strength of Dragon Village 3 comes in. And this isn't just "who has the biggest dragon." The game is basically a turn-based strategy battle of real-time elements that relies heavily on type match ups, skill combos and formation positioning to win. Work your way up the ranked ladder and become greatest Tamer. Alternatively, if you like to play co-op, tackle the giant "Dragon Slayer" in guild boss raids for huge spoils as you push back against your league.
The game works perfectly on PC using BlueStacks emulator in Windows 10 with macro capabilities for grinding repetitive tasks, multi-instance sync to make re-rolling fast and convenient. The emulator experience is seamless if you play hard.
So what's the one flaw? Ad-based monetization is done. Free features — fishing, work more villages or even some progression actions needed to sit through advertisements each time. They are not a one-time purchase to remove them entirely, only an ongoing Membership subscription. Given how lenient the game is with free content otherwise, this just feels like an unneeded and unwelcome friction point that drags you out of engrossing moments at the worst time.
Dragon Village 3 is an 8/10 title for anyone who loves dragons, collection mechanics and light strategy. Fantastic world, deep breeding system and actual skill-based PvP arena rewarding players bring patience (and maybe a subscription) for the ads.
