Rise of Kingdoms: Lost Crusade is a strategy game in which you will embody a civilization with commanders with special skills to lead it. You’ll start with just a small village and then try to grow it into a big and thriving empire. Of course, this won’t be easy to do. You will have to evolve your people to advance through the ages and conquer all the kingdoms with the help of your Alliance!

Rise of Kingdoms: Lost Crusade can be an overwhelming game for beginners. There are many things that you need to do and learn. 

➤ Battles are held in real-time

Battles happen in real-time on the map. Anyone can join or leave a battle at any time, allowing true RTS gameplay. See an ally being attacked right in your backyard? Send some troops to help your buddy out, or launch a surprise counterattack on the attacker’s city.

➤ Seamless World Map

All in-game action takes place on a single, enormous map inhabited by players and NPCs. No isolated bases or separate battle screens. Map features include natural obstructions such as rivers and mountain ranges and strategic passes that must be captured to gain entrance to neighboring regions.

➤ Twelve Unique Civilizations

Choose one of 12 historical civilizations and guide your civilization from a lone clan into a great power. Each civilization has its architecture, unique units, and special advantages.

➤ Unrestricted movement of troops

New orders can be issued to troops at any time, offering limitless strategic possibilities. Launch an attack on an enemy city, then circle back and meet up with your alliance army to capture a pass. Dispatch troops to collect lumber from a nearby forest and have them pick off a few barbarian clans along the way. Forces can also be split up between multiple commanders so that you can engage in multiple actions simultaneously.

Your world is covered in thick fog. Dispatch scouts to explore this mysterious land and uncover the hidden treasure within. Investigate lost temples, barbarian fortresses, mysterious caves, and tribal villages, gather intelligence on your enemies, and prepare yourself for the ultimate battle!

Full alliance features allow players to help one another: live chat with built-in translation, officer roles, map indicators to coordinate strategies, and more! Rise of Kingdoms: Lost Crusade is a strategy game that’s published by Lilith Games. I like the game, think the graphics are pretty good and the historical stuff is interesting. There are countless things that can be explored, and you will feel that you can’t get started when you play it for the first time. This is a normal phenomenon. You need to learn something to enjoy the game. But don’t worry, strategy games like this usually come with tutorials to provide you with the basics. For example, the first thing you will learn is to build a resource structure like a farm. That is the source of food consumed by the people living in your village.

You will also learn how to train troops and then train commanders to lead them. This tutorial will also teach you how to upgrade buildings and how to fight. Your first battle will be against the barbarians terrorizing nearby villages. You will send commanders and troops to fight them. The battle is carried out automatically, and the result will depend on the strength of your troops and commanders. So if your enemy’s army is stronger, you are likely to lose the battle. This tutorial will also show you how to complete the tasks in the game, which will reward you with resources. Resources are the materials needed to complete most of the actions in the city. Examples of actions that require resources include upgrading buildings, researching technology, training troops, healing troops, scouting other governors or alliances, and purchasing items from mysterious merchants.

There are four main resources used in cities: food, wood, stone, and gold. Gems are high-quality resources. Resources can be obtained in the following ways:

● Collect from farms (food), wood mills (wood), quarries (stone), or gold mines in the city

● Collect from resource nodes on the map

● As a reward for completing activities and tasks

● Expedition (small amount)

● Sunset Canyon (a small amount)

● Defeat the barbarians

● Gold and silver boxes

● Loot another governor’s city (some of your troops will be killed in the process)

Gems are a high-quality resource that will be unlocked immediately after the city is established. It can be obtained in the original form through some missions in the main mission line or by purchasing various bundles with real money in the gem shop. Gems cannot be looted in any form. Gems can be used to purchase items from mysterious merchants, shops, or VIP shops. Alternatively, they can be exchanged for VIP points, or directly used to accelerate training, research, or construction. But I recommend using gems for VIP points because, at VIP 10 level, you will get a legendary commander sculpture every day, which is the most difficult resource in the game. At VIP 14 level, 3 sculptures can be obtained every day, or use them on the Book of Covenants to upgrade your castle, as they are very difficult to obtain.

If you want to fight, you need a commander. Each commander has three specialties to determine which talent trees can be upgraded. Each commander has four skills that are unlocked based on the commander's star rating. Epic and Legendary commanders have a 5th proficiency skill that enhances one of their first four skills; all four skills are unlocked by leveling up to 5. Star rank can be unlocked by sacrificing a sculpture, which is unique to that commander or can be generic.
