Candy Crush Soda Saga is another great version of Candy Crush that worth checking out! It’s a different version of Candy Crush as you can probably already tell by its name. There are unique candies and they are more matching combinations than before. I feel like the candy crush series has more and more to offer but the basic mechanism hasn’t changed at all which can be a good thing or relatively a bad thing.

 

It’s a puzzle-solving game that takes you on an adventure game so I don’t think it would be necessary for me to elaborate more on that. The key feature of the game is the satisfaction you get from erasing rolls and rolls of candy which can be a great way to release stress. This is probably one of the reasons why this game has more audience for middle age than other games and it’s also because the game mechanism is quite handy where people can learn about how the game works immediately. That’s why this can be considered as a flaw as well because this game is quite easy to start and there isn’t a lot of variety in the gameplay, it would get boring in while. The game will feel the same over and over again because it’s the same pattern but only vary in difficulties. This is can be a good explanation for why I only play candy crush when there isn’t anything else better to do in my life or when the network is down.

 

The game is more than just candy crush. There are short videos that show you the journey and there are seasonal updates that occur one e in a while I feel like that could be an amazing thing to do but the fact that the game is still heavily tight to the puzzle-solving element is the number one reason why the game doesn’t have a stable and high-quality player base. The positive side of this game is that there are so many levels for you to challenge yourself which can be quite exciting and you will have a scoreboard where you can try to compete with your friends and see who is better at this game. The graphics are getting better and better over the years and the background music isn’t the same in different generations which adds more fun to the game. Different game modes add more freedom to the gameplay and the short video clip of erasing candy can be unique to watch at the very beginning.

 

There are some technical flaws that the game has to pay attention to. The updates on this game could be disastrous if not taken seriously like there is this one player who mentions the update taking away his chance to accept friend requests and there are so many interruptions in the gameplay that the game freezes itself once in a while. I mean it’s understandable that the game needs an update and needs more new and refreshing elements in it but it doesn’t necessarily mean it’s the right thing to do when you ignore the foundations of the game which is how the game will run.

 

The game is going downhill and I feel the same with my fellow players in the game. I feel like what the developers would need to do right now at this moment is try to get players' hopes and fix the game and stop adding unnecessary updates on useless parts of the game and make the game runnable without missing features again! I would be more than happy to get back to the game when everything gets fixed.
