Heads up is an app that captures my attention quickly as I was wondering what I should have done for the upcoming small reunion. I don’t even know there is this app until now. I normally play poker or other kinds of card games. This is the first time that I found something like this. I’m more than thrilled that I discover an app like this out of blue.

So basically you open up this app and put the phone or tablet you have on your forehead. And the person sitting across you will have to give you clues or some sort of useful information for you to guess the right word that’s displaying on your head and you can make multiple guesses. People normally do this game by competing with one another or other groups and that’s probably the fun of this app. The best thing about this app is the fact that it has different categories that you can choose from and you can choose to pass the words that are too hard to guess. Some categories are fun to enjoy like one of the specific TV shows you like or the album you used to listen to. And I think people are different in general with different parts of knowledge backgrounds. I watched things on TV before where the actors and actresses were doing games like this and it’s always been fun. But, sadly, I forgot about how great this game would be if you choose to play this game in real life. It was a total blast when I tried out this app for the first time and all of my friends enjoyed this game as much as I did. The most interesting part about this game is you will never be able to know for sure what sorts of words are on your head and whatever words they are whether they are weird or interesting, you will have to use your brain and memory to solve the question.

Mutual understanding and communication between people are also the keys to success in this game. You can choose to give out clues by doing actions or dancing or singing and it’s totally up to your to determine how you want to describe the word to the person sitting across from you. The game also suffers from flaws unfortunately, the game has a terrible interface page and it sucks. The only reason I enjoy this app is that the material inside is fun, not the overall quality. I feel like a lot of people don’t enjoy the app, to be honest, but just for leisure time where they would have to use it. The UI systems and the search functions inside the app are just disastrous and I wonder why wouldn’t the creators choose to fix the problem and make the overall game experience better than ever since so many people are downloading the app for different reasons. It’s still quite a shame in my opinion that this app functions like this. The timer thing in this app is also broken in which I feel like the core of the game is worth spending hours and hours on but if there are other apps with better design and interface and more smooth gameplay would be ideal for me.

Overall, a fun game that a bunch of people can enjoy but a terrible app in general. It’s already 2022 and the game still suffers from terrible design. It’s not that hard for people to make changes and make sure that everything works well. I would appreciate the developers doing more than just useless updates while ignoring what’s really missing in the app.
