Grand Theft Auto: Vice City is a 2002 action-adventure game developed by Rockstar North and published by Rockstar Games. It is the fourth main entry in the Grand Theft Auto series, following 2001's Grand Theft Auto III, and the sixth installment overall. Set within the fictional 1986 Sin City (based in Miami), It tells the story of the mob Tommy Vercetti (Tommy Vercetti) who came to power after he was released from prison and was involved in an ambush drug trade. While looking for the perpetrators, he slowly established an empire by seizing the power of other criminal organizations in the city.

The game's animations, sound design, and music production are very nice, most of the animations in the game are original, and only a few are borrowed from Grand Theft Auto III. The entire game world has 110 unique pedestrian models and approximately 50 story characters; each character uses twice the number of polygon renderings and textures found in Grand Theft Auto III. Some character models and scenes are inspired by movies such as "The Godfather" (1972), while the game's demos are inspired by action TV shows in the 1980s. It contains over 90 minutes of cutscenes and nine hours of music, with more than 113 songs and commercials.

However, compared to the above, what attracts me the most is its storyline. In 1986, thug Tommy Visetti (voiced by Ray Liotta) is released from prison after serving 15 years for murder. His boss, Sonny Furelli (Tom Sizemore), sends Tommy to Sin City to oversee a major drug deal with wily lawyer Ken Rosenberg (William Fichtner) to establish a drug business in the South. However, the deal is ambushed by unidentified assailants, and Tommy and Ken barely escape. Angered upon hearing the news, Sonny orders Tommy to recover the drugs, alongside the money he gave to him, under threat of consequences. Seeking information, Ken points Tommy towards Colonel Juan Garcia Cortez (Robert Davi), who helped set up the exchange. Expressing regret for the ambush, Cortez promises to find out who masterminded it.

In the course of his investigation, Tommy meets several people who offer him help: music producer Kent Paul (Danny Dyer), who maintains ties with the city's underworld; Lance Vance (Philip Michael Thomas), who helped with the deal and lost his brother in an ambush; Texas real estate developer Avery Carrington (Burt Reynolds), who in return for several deals in which he seeks Tommy's help; and drug lord Ricardo Diaz (Luis Guzman), who hires both Tommy and Lance but treats them only as lackeys. Eventually, Cortés begins to suspect that Diaz organized the ambush. After further investigation, Lance discovers this to be true and, against Tommy's advice, tries to kill Diaz, resulting in his arrest. After Tommy saves Lance, the two find themselves forced to kill Diaz before he can retaliate. After Diaz's death, Tommy takes over his assets and, on Avery's advice, works to expand his new criminal empire by forcing corporations to pay him protection money and acquiring nearly bankrupt companies as front lines for his illegal activities. Meanwhile, Tommy offers help to several prominent gang leaders in the hope that they will support his expansion and help Cortez escape the city with stolen military equipment.

Eventually, Sonny discovers that Tommy has complete control of the drug trade in Sin City without cutting off Forellis' involvement. Furious at his independence, Sonny sends thugs to forcibly collect money from Tommy's business. In response, Tommy kills Sonny's men and cuts off contact with him. Later learning that Sonny is coming to Sin City to collect his debt in person, Tommy prepares to pay him tribute in counterfeit money. However, Sonny reveals that he was responsible for Tommy's arrest 15 years ago and that Lance betrayed him and aligned himself with Forrellis, who has felt Tommy's presence inadequate since he came to power. A shootout breaks out at Tommy's mansion, during which he stops Forellis from stealing his money and murders Lance for betrayal, ultimately killing Sonny in a tense standoff. When Ken arrives at the scene of the massacre, Tommy quickly assures him that all is now well as he finally establishes himself as the undisputed crime boss of Sin City.

After understanding the game plot, I believe you will complete the task more smoothly and enjoy the game more. Have fun!
